Came back to watch the first movie reaction before doing the second. But am I the only one who's video is all messed up from 4:20 onwards? The commentary seems on point but what is being shown doesn't match at all. The preview on the timeline of the video also seems correct.

To address the "why am I crying" - because, as you mention, it's sincere. For quite some time now one of biggest complaints moviegoers and movie reviewers had was the lack of sincerity. The dreaded "well, that just happened, shrug, wink, nudge" kinda writing, directing, and acting. You even mention it in this reaction when you listen to Elizabeth's speech. Like, these days such a dramatic tirade with tons of pathos would probably have an actual "womp womp" trombone sound effect played, and every pirate in the scene would smirk and Jim at the camera, shaking their heads. Hell, even the scenes that subvert expectations for comedic effect are always in-world shenanigans and they are also played sincerely, so they feel just as organic as the emotional moments, and not like the writers slapping you across the face through the screen for daring to feel things. So yeah, the viewer gets emotional because the movie lets itself be emotional too. It openly displays sincerity, inviting us to be open and sincere too.

I hope Natalie will watch Black Sails if she craves more awesome pirate action. I feel like she'll love John Silver!

Movies like this are what reaction channels were made for, especially when Arnold Schwarzenegger is revealed at the good guy. Everything is setup and staged to make us think that he's the bad guy again, especially having the T1000 take the place of a cop, aka somebody you are generally taught to trust. We also only see him punch the cop when he almost certainly stabbed him, as opposed to all the people we see Arnold's terminator injure in the bar. They even have them appear in the same order first, with Arnold being first to further sell it!

i love this movie, but if you realize, all the shit happened because eve read the damn book, all the people who died, died because of her.... who would have guessed that the other sexist explorer was right about her XD

(because if you never noticed - THIS - was the cause of gis distraction & therefore the reason for the car crash) i already know what would be the amswer: the kids on the bikes --- because that's what is assumed, given that's what's most forefront in the shot. ....but may i offer, in case you may not have noticed, the house he JUST left - from OBVIOUSLY killing Carla Jean - is visible in that rearview mirror as well. ...where he was just forced to face the reality that "the rule he followed" led him to the point of having to make a decision, where his usual "rule" had just essntially failed him. and all that is to say...she got to him, in SOME cacpacity. just food for thought 😉

I get the criticism of cars, the worldbuilding is severely lacking but the storytelling is so superb it just trumps everything and makes for a great movie
